The 1st of May Labor Day is here. And some more, some less, already our plans have a trip (shorter or longer) to disconnect from the routine of everyday life and make a visit to his closest family or just to vent our hobbies.
Knowing this, the Directorate General of Traffic (DGT) has issued a series of provisions, that we should to follow if we do not want to waste the most of our free time on the road.
The kick-off of “Special Operation May 1” takes place this Thursday April 30, the last working day of the week for the lucky ones. The DGT provides that the biggest bottlenecks take place between 15 pm and midnight, so advised to choose another time to begin the journey of our holiday.
In any case, it will be on Friday May 1st on the highest concentration of cars on our roads. To avoid the hours will be from 8 o’clock in the morning until 15 noon.
According to the DGT, Saturday May 2 will be the mildest day facing traffic. In any case, it could exist traffic problems in the morning and at duty stations, and in the afternoon, motivated by the people who advance their journey back home.
Sunday May 3rd is the date of return for most, except for those who have been able to extend your vacation a day. In this sense, the DGT recommended to head home before 13 hours, at which time our roads will have a greater influx of traffic.
Caution at the wheel and happy holidays!
